A Gestalt Shift is a sudden change in perception, illustrated by the famous duck-rabbit illusion. It shows how our understanding of the world can shift in an instant, leading us to see things differently.

My name is Roman Alexander. In May 2017, I was diagnosed with stage four cancer and underwent emergency surgery just 48 hours later. The following 14 months of treatment, including chemotherapy and two more surgeries, were a success and gave me not only a second chance at life, but also new perspectives on what is truly important, which is not very much at all.

In this podcast I want to share stories and explore ideas that hopefully inspire, entertain, and challenge you to think deeply about your own choices, encouraging you to make the changes necessary to live a simple, joyful life.
