Welcome to the Shady Lawyer Podcast. This was originally to be called the Texas Law Coach, but I have owned shadylawyer.com for years, and my publicist/daughter suggested that The Shady Lawyer might be more brandable. I am your host, Craig Jackson, and I am a mediator/lawyer who practices in Grapevine, Texas. Prior to launching this show, I did some real soul-searching in hopes of determining whether I could start a podcast about the law that is (a) as entertaining as it is informative and (b) useful to lawyers and laypeople alike. Well, my gut has assured me that such a podcast is impossible. Nevertheless, we are taking a stab at creating a show that is not your parents' boring, missionary position only legal podcast.
