Episode 93: Charitable Ventures, led by Anne Olin, went from a newly-minted organization in 2008 with a budget of just $193,000 at the beginning of the recession to $1.2 million in 2012 at the end of the recession. That's a 624% increase during the great recession when organizations all over the country were shrinking. Then, they jumped to $7.5 million in 2018 when I concluded my study. That's a total of a whopping 3,880% growth, and that's not all. They're still growing to this day. How did they do it?
