This is the audio-only version of the entire keynote I delivered at the IAA Mobility conference and trade-show in Munich, on September 9, 2021. In this hard-hitting and wide-ranging talk I outline the next 10 years in the mobility, transportation and automotive industries. First, deep and wide-ranging digitization (the Game-Changers see https://www.futuristgerd.com/category... and the Megashifts - see www.megashifts.digital). Cars are no longer just a product, they are a service and an experience. Then, dramatic decarbonization across the entire MaaS food-chain - a huge challenge but also the biggest opportunity in the next 2 decades. Lastly, REFORMATION of our economic logic, from a focus on GDP, profit and growth, to a more holistic focus on People, Planet, Purpose and Prosperity (have a look at my new film www.thegoodfuturefilm.com). This will impact every player in this industry, as Purpose and Trust become the crucial assets. All in all, the future is better than we think - and for the big players in mobility the opportunities far outweigh the challenges. This was my first large REAL-LIFE (i.e. not virtual) event since late February 2020 (when the Covid19 crisis started) - it was a blast!
