I "met" Vangelis in a documentary that I was watching somewhere on RTP (portuguese public channel). It would be maybe on a Sunday lunchtime in the early 80's and I didn't even think or realize what was in front of me. Before that he had already 13 years making music (with a "Best Of") and after showing us what the soundtracks of millions of journalistic pieces of space and science: "Albedo 0.39", "Spiral" or the famous "Chariots of Fire" are huge themes. At 79, it was too soon. It is the burden of the great: they will always be missed.
