Sometimes in life, we have choice points in how we’re going to handle a situation. We can take the information presented to us and choose how we want to view things. In fact, we get to do so. See, lady, life is full of opportunities to view things in your favor…or not. It’s all about perspective. This week, Dr. Dom and Terri offer their, ahem, perspectives on how powerful the decision to make shifts in our internal dialogue can result in big changes in our external world. Tips to Help You Change Your Perspective
1. Stay open and ground yourself with a meaningful mantra like "Everything is working out for my good".
2. Meditate.
3. Begin saying "I Get To" instead of "I have to..."
4. Make a small change.
5. Use “What I Like About It Is …” and "The pros of this situation are..."
6. Recite positive affirmations proactively. Don't wait until the negative thoughts come.
