Carolyn is an experienced leader with more than 20 years in the technology sector, including extensive international experience within the tech, e-commerce and telecommunications sectors.

She's currently steering the ship for GoCardless - an exciting FinTech that is striving to help digitise commerce and payments across all parts of business.

She’s an advocate for workplace diversity and is focused on creating an inclusive working environment. Her primary goal is to empower organisations to drive inclusion and equality through technology and choice.

Carolyn’s career got started in Telco, where she worked for Crazy John’s and Vodafone. We talk a lot about her experiences in the industry and what she learned in those first couple of roles, and you will be blown away by the story she tells about how she got her first job with Crazy John’s while at uni... It’s gotta be one in a million...

Her other career highlights include roles with Braintree and eBay, which is where I first met and worked with her.

Today, Carolyn’s fast becoming one of Australia’s most celebrated business leaders and one of the world’s leading women in tech advocates. She was recently recognised as one of the Business Insider’s Top 20 Women in FinTech, and also received the prestigious “Advocate for Women” award at the 2019 Women in Payment symposium.
