E para estas coisas quem é idôneo?”. Deus demonstrou Seu desprazer com o vã louvor até no Antigo Testamento, Ele desejava que o fiel verdadeiro mostrasse sua fé pela observação dos rituais. Quando o coração do homem não era penitente e agradecido, Deus não estava satisfeito. (Leia Amós 5:21-27 e Malaquias 1:10)
