In 2007, Dr Berkowitz published the book, 'Botox Nation: Changing The Face of America' which was an in-depth look at how injectables have become a cultural phenomenon.
As a non-medical professional and having been an injectables patient herself, she interviewed hundreds of Americans to understand their motivations and reasons for seeking out treatments.
