This week Gines to joined my special guest Jason Robinson. Jason co-founded Future Advisory, a boutique accounting and advisory firm that won the 2022 Xero Accounting Firm of the Year. He is a member of Deputy chair of the CPA Public Practice Committee, Co-Host of The Numbers Game Podcast, founder of Coff&Co coffee roasters, and dabbled in a Gin company. It is fair to say Jason does quite a few things.

They cover a range of topics that include growing pains, team culture, and performance standards, we chat about the need for family trusts and some of the misconceptions. Gines asks why people are loyal to their accountants, unlike health professionals. Where we get a second opinion, however, for an accountant we do not seem to do that.
