Video Games, Violence, Family, and Nonsense

Content/Trigger Warning: joking about video game violence, mentions of recent shootings, LGBTQ+ sensitive topics, family-caused trauma, brief mentions of gender roles and stereotypes.
Our intention was to talk about the supposed/potential correlation between video game/movie/tv violence and the 'increased' violence among young people. However, it turned out to be a limited topic and we had to expand to false correlations that are put on young people in general.
Clinical mental health counseling masters student, working toward licensure here! Also, a long-term therapy patient, we're here to explore mental health from every perspective - even the therapist who IS the patient.
