In this episode of Lioness Conversations, Jen Porter explores purpose, perseverance and impact with Erin Foote Morgan, owner of FM Civic--a public affairs and strategic communications firm based in the Pacific Northwest that's focused on community impact initiatives.

Erin is a visionary strategist who builds, launches and manages projects that accelerate the timeline of community progress. She works with government, business and nonprofit leaders to define and achieve their most ambitious goals for solving the Pacific Northwest's greatest challenges. She is an expert in strategic planning, community initiative design, project management, policy development and advocacy, coalition-building, civic engagement, strategic communications, public relations and fundraising.

She holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Oregon in Political Science, and a Masters of Journalism from the University of Missouri.

In her 25-year career she has led political campaigns, and worked as an investigative reporter and newspaper editor. She is a former community college journalism professor and administrator. She has been the executive director of a nonprofit focused on community visioning, affordable housing and transportation solutions. She's served as the managing director of one of the Pacific Northwest's leading public affairs firms. And now she owns her own boutique public affairs and strategic communications firm based in Bend, Oregon, where she has two exceptional employees, and feels privileged to support and lead community impact initiatives across the Northwest.
