Rick Bradley had an early life of feeling inadequate in many areas of his life. He turned to substance abuse to overcome these inadequate feelings. He learned that drinking was merely temporary relief. His mother had the temerity to ask for professional help because of her father’s alcoholism. Through her efforts and perseverance, Rick is now free of his past. He is passing forward his life experience by encouraging other families to seek professional help early. Do not feel ashamed, and never assume substance disease will cure itself.
