Today we're broadcasting from the Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids as the Forest Hills Eastern Athletic Boosters held their annual Golf outing. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great people connected to FHE to hear about raising money for their sports programs and facilities. We were also joined by some of our great insiders to talk about the Tigers, Lions, Michigan, Michigan State, and more. We kicked off the show talking about the Detroit Tigers as former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal joined us. He and Huge talked about a great weekend for our Tigers, gave their thoughts on World Series potential, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Scott Wherley, who heads up the FHE Athletic Boosters. He talked with Huge about their mission, how you can get involved, and more. We talked about the Lions and their win over the Cardinals in our second hour as Jeff Risdon from Lions Wire joined us. He and Huge talked about that game as they gave their opinions on what went right for the Lions as well as what didn't go so well, they talked about what a great bounce back it was, and much more. We were then joined by Chris Balas from theWolverine.com to talk about Michigan's win over USC. He and Huge talked about their expectations going into that game, gave their thoughts on why Michigan played so well, looked ahead on the schedule, and more. In our final hour, we talked about Michigan State's loss to Boston College as Graham Couch from the Lansing State Journal joined us. He and Huge talked about that gut-wrenching last minute loss, talked about the great changes they've seen with this team since a year ago, talked about Aidan Chiles, and much more. We were then joined by Doug Skene from theWolverine.com to talk about Michigan's win over USC. Doug told us what he thought improved since last week, talked about what still needs improvement, he and Huge talked about their expectations moving forward, and more. We were then joined by Benjamin Norrix who is the FHE Head Men/Women's Rowing Coach. He talked about how they're raising funds for their program, where they could use some help, and how you could get involved.
