It can be hard to imagine talking with your teen about suicide. But given that it is the second leading cause of death among young people, it makes sense to be prepared to have that conversation. How can we as parents create a safe, non-judgemental space where our teens feel comfortable talking about hard things? How do we know when to worry and how to get help? Join us for today’s podcast episode, where we talk with two CHC experts, Katie Reeves, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Jason Tinero, MS, Doctoral Psychology Intern, to hear what all parents should know about teen suicide.
