Grief and loss come in many forms and are brought on in many ways. Although loss is loss no matter how you slice it, there is a uniqueness to sudden loss. This week I have a conversation with Erin Browning to discuss the anatomy of sudden loss, how that connects to your nervous system, why breathwork and meditation can be helpful in healing, and the internal housekeeping that can be powerful to getting you on the right path to healing.

Early in adulthood, Erin’s career was thriving as she worked in healthcare as a masters educated Speech Pathologist but chaos struck and she quickly realized something was missing from her work. After experiencing sudden loss she began navigating a new life. One that allowed her to show up and care for herself in a way that only she could do. Now, she helps others do the same.

Episode Highlights:

  • Erin’s take on Big’s death in SATC reboot and how it relates to her personal experience with loss
  • Sudden loss and why it feels so different than other losses
  • Creating space for new life, plans, and interactions while also holding the past sacred
  • When and why you should start having the tough conversations surrounding death before it happens
  • The BS in “finding peace” and why it’s not a one size fits all solution
  • Following your intuition and meeting your own needs
  • Ayurveda medicine and healing
