He holds a Ph.D. in economics and studied at Harvard, the LSE and University of St. Gallen. Magnus focuses on the intersection of art, money and technology. He is considered one of the most controversial experts on the art market. His previous books include "Management of art Galleries" and "100 Secrets of the art world", both bestsellers. Magnus' career has been portrayed in a Harvard Business School case study and in various articles with the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair and the Financial Times.
