As perfectly detailed in The Book of Genesis, God perfectly illustrates the difference between good and evil. But, unfortunately, from Creation, simple instructions failed to be followed, and thus, humankind was forever burdened with sin. For those like I, who learned the story of Creation from a young age, Adam blamed Eve; Eve blamed the serpent. And in effect, it set forth a movement that would forever lay the groundwork for humankind not taking accountability for their actions and intentionally using deceptive practices to gain an advantage or approval.
As a longtime Lutheran, I have battled angst, seeing my church play with the wishes of non-believers and beck the call of those who wish to reconstruct all that Christ died and resurrected to defeat. Over the last several weeks, I have the pleasure of instructing my child during his Catechism, charged as my oath during his baptism. In that oath, I am to teach my child the ways of the Lord.
This past week, both during his lesson and during our weekly church sermon delivered from the pulpit, we dissected the Creation story, as well as Matthews's gospel, detailing "A House Divided." In Chapter 12, verses 22:28, Matthew speaks about a possessed man who was brought before Jesus to cast out his demons.
The Pharisees of the day charged Jesus with performing the devil's work, for, in their eyes, only one possessed could command and control demons. But of course, many have heard the story. So Jesus turns the table around on the doubters and naysayers.
In Chapter 25, Matthew says: But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? 27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
I am here to tell you that there is no refuting the Gospel of our Lord. Indeed, a house divided cannot stand. But I want to take these works and lay them out for you and apply them to what is occurring today in America.
As a result of Democratic Deception, today's liberals are like the serpent in the Garden of Eden, laying upon their belly, and lethargically, but intentionally, slithering their way, with their forked tongue, to bring deception and despair, among our people. Their goal, to cast doubt and guilt among house members, families, neighbors, and fellow citizens. In turn, they are pitting pity and paying patronage to anything else but Godly principles, with efforts wishing to split man against man, woman against woman, and friend and neighbor against each other.
Look around - many ask where God is? God has never left the realm of earth. Instead, we have left him. Like Adam and Eve, we long to do and know all the wrong things. We fear embarrassment, guilt, and shame, and yet, we act in such a way that brings all three to our threshold. As a result of our deliverance to the devil and his deceptive practices, too important do we hold dear what others think of us, what is better for others and the group, rather than standing for what is commanded of us?
Adam and Eve failed to follow directions - a simple plan to healthy and everlasting life. Today, we, like they, have turned our backs on simple instructions for freedom. Yet, our nation's founding fathers had a vision, intermingling Godly principles with liberty and happiness.
On Thursday, I got a glimpse of a segment on ABC's Good Morning America, another leftist approach at today's mainstream media to prop up President Biden and to continually refute and reject the prior policies and positions of Trump's "America First." action.
In this segment, ABC attempted to promote President Biden's attendance at the G-7 summit as somehow a return to American Global Supremacy. In the report, ABC News highlighted Biden's comment that he would "tell Russian President Vladimir Putin what he wants him to know."
In a post-Cold War showdown, ex-KGB officer Putin is hardly afraid of an assisted-living Bound Biden, and he firmly knows that any threats cast his way are nothing more than for show and shadowboxing. Joe Biden doesn't have a mean bone in the body - and simply attempting to become some Marvel, made-over Man of Steel against a socialist superpower will yet again bring nothing but shame and disappointment.
Biden is hardly intimidating - he cast no authority to either China or Russia. The only ovations he receives come from the cross-pond Pansies of failing European powers of France and Germany. They have brought on their ailments as a result of their anti-Democratic counterculture. Biden and the EU speak of freedom, but they share a common goal; they fail to understand that true liberty is free and isn't obtained by simply attacking those who give more and fear less.
Reagan's March 8, 1983 speech to the National Association of Evangelicals in Orlando, Florida, is his first recorded use of the phrase "evil empire." ... In that speech, Reagan said: Yes, let us pray for the salvation of all of those who live in that totalitarian darkness—pray they will discover the joy of knowing God. But until they do, let us be aware that while they preach the supremacy of the State, declare its omnipotence over individual man, and predict its eventual domination of all peoples on the earth, they are the focus of evil in the modern world.
Today in America, we see firsthand what an evil government can do - the choice and demands made against its people and the harsh realities that await its supposed free citizens. So while Biden and members of his radical-left use freedom as a spear to stick it to its citizens, we should use it like a sponge, to absorb just what most in this country should desire - and that ladies and gentlemen are a society free of control, free of policies and plague decay, and free from people who wish to bankrupt our nation, and instead prop up a Bolshevik regime to replace what our founders had so magically designed.
From the start of time and since the Creation of humankind, there was Good and Evil. It is high time that Americans demand to know the difference - no more are frontal attacks the commonplace for corruption. Instead, chance favors the prepared mind - how ready are you?
