In celebration of National Public Health Week 2020, this presentation offers insight into the early response actions to the COVID-19 outbreak in Washington State through the first week of April 2020. Moderated by Dr. Tishra Beeson from CWU Public Health, field experts Dr. Amie Wojtyna and Jeff Ketchel discuss Washington's response to the pandemic, as one of the earliest epicenters of COVID-19 in the United States and offer comments on the future of public health preparedness for future field professionals. Questions from the audience are taken at the end of the presentation.
