What we're throwing down on the Table this week is a fantastic discussion with John Barchard (@JohnBarchard), cohost of the Bell And The Birdman podcast, about how this Eagles team is faring in free agency and the team building we're seeing from Howie Roseman and the front office. It was a great discussion!
But first, we dove into some listener feedback about the NCAA Tournament and our consistent dislike for the college basketball product. (approx. 4:15)
Then we shifted to the fact that we're actually going to have a Major League Baseball season. Fun right? Unfortunately, we may be seeing more mediocrity from the Phillies this season even after they signed Kyle Schwarber (approx. 12:45)
From there, we got into a bunch of NBA and Sixers talk as this Sixers team is worrying some in the fan base as Doc Rivers tries to integrate James Harden into this lineup. Is there zero chance at this team winning the title this year?(approx. 24:05)
What we threw down on the Table was a great discussion with John Barchard from the Bell And The Birdman podcast about this Eagles team and organization here in March 2022 as free agency and a new NFL year is underway. Can we consider the Eagles a very relevant NFL team given their contemporary history? Will Haason Reddick actually elevate this Eagles defense within the NFC East division? Is there ambiguity with the skill position players on offense from a depth perspective? Erik and Jeff then gave their thoughts about this Eagles free agency period. Yeah, Erik still isn't thrilled that Greg Ward is on the team. All of this and much more this week on the Table! (approx. 36:45)
