How did Jeremy Lipkowitz go from being an atheist scientist, to being a Buddhist monk, to teaching common-sense techniques to quiet the mind?

We discuss how you can take control of the impact that your negative thoughts have in you.

Show Notes:

Jeremy Lipkowitz is a meditation teacher and mindfulness coach and the creator of Untangling the Mind, a site where he helps people overcome anxiety, kick bad habits, and rewire their brains for more happiness in the present moment.

As a former scientist and PhD candidate at Duke University, Jeremy Lipkowitz found mindfulness meditation to be a huge help in coping with his high-stress career and the difficulties of living in the modern digital age. After experiencing the benefits of mindfulness in his own life, Jeremy has been committed to teaching others how to do the same.

Jeremy leads retreats and workshops around the world, and also offers private, 1-on-1 coaching online. Combining his knowledge of modern neuroscience with his deep experiential understanding of meditation, Jeremy offers a down-to-earth and pragmatic approach to mindfulness and mental health.
