The fight against cancer began around 1970, the year I was born. Culturally we’ve treated cancer like an insidious evil that is hunting us as a predator and we are its prey. It gets you or it doesn’t, you catch it or you don’t. Yet the science does not back this up. Do genetics contribute? 5-10% possibly. The main issue is what we are doing to our cells that is much the causation and the continued growth. Now I realize that even the hint at us having any responsibility regarding cancer is a highly volatile premise. I’ve had family members with cancer. Who died from cancer. And I can’t guarantee I won’t get cancer. Regardless, this is not our opinion. Our very own National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) as a division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) published "Cancer is a Preventable Disease that Requires Major Lifestyle Changes” and cites the highest percentage of causation is diet and specifically, inflammation. We have more and more doctors and experts coming forth with this message. It's not popular to the masses, but for those of us who want and accept control over our health, this...is glorious news.
