Then, Dana White Contender Series alum Phillip “Megatron” Hawes joins Jim and Matt for his UFC Unfiltered debut. The guys learn where Phillip is from, why he moved to Florida to train, what it is like being teammates with Gilbert Burns and why having a wrestling background makes you gritty as ____. Phillip also talks about how most of his opponents don’t like being hit, and how he does not mind it. After that Matt tries (and fails) to get Phillip to sing West Side Story with him, Phillip details his arduous journey to get into the UFC and recommends some motivational books and movies.
