In this episode we cover:

What is a “Jewish Birth Mother?”

The truth about being a birth mother.

Overcoming the stigma associated with your life choices.

The implications of adoption for the birth mom.

Advocacy for Jewish Birth Mothers and where you can go for help, resources, and support.

What can “survival mode” look like for you during these times?

What is Ludwig’s Angina?

Could you be at risk for Ludwig’s Angina?

Lori Prashker-Thomas is a Jewish Birth Mother, who up until recently never discussed her story of placing a child for adoption because of the stigma attached to the subject within the Jewish community. She is now an advocate for Jewish women, both as a speaker and a writer. Recently, she has become an advocate for people suffering from Ludwig's Angina. She is also Co-Owner of and a photographer with ShadowCatcher Photography, runs a non-profit organization called, I Picture Hope and is Owner and Officiant at Ceremonies by Lori.
