This week we blast off with an indie bottling from The Whisky Barrel, the interestingly titled “Houston, we’ve had a problem”, Single Malt Scotch Whisky distilled at Highland Park. A whisky released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission in 1970. Bottled at the cask strength of 61.3% ABV, this single cask offering could be used as rocket fuel but how does it taste? Well to help us test it we’re joined by Dan Cox, Guitarist of the band ‘Alite’ who’s currently here with us laying down guitars for Dave’s album in Abbey Road.
