#NeverForget1984. This year marks the 36th year anniversary of the 1984 Sikh Genocide, a very crucial event that took place in Sikh history. On this episode, Jassi gives a deeper insight into the events that took place during this brutal Sikh genocide where many innocent Sikh lives were lost. She is joined on this episode by Erim Kaur, an influencer, entrepreneur and founder of 'By Erim'. Erim openly speaks about a documentary she worked on a few years ago on the 1984 Sikh Genocide, she shares the importance of actively talking about this event to raise awareness, what it feels like to be a Sikh living in this society now and also how she has incorporated components of Sikhi into her own brand. This is a very interesting conversation which raises awareness on a matter that is extremely important but not spoken about as actively as it really should.
