Latasha Matthews is known as America’s Emotional Wellness Expert, she is Co-founder of Pieces That Fit, Inc. and the CEO and Clinical Director of IllumiNation Counseling and Coaching, LLC . Latasha has worked in social services, higher education and corporate America. She has provided in-home community-based therapy, and worked in a variety of counseling and clinical private practice settings. Latasha is well versed in providing individual, couples, adolescents and family therapy techniques. With 15 year’s experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Life Coach and Speaker, she utilizes a Family Systems approach, which considers how a particular system impacts an individual person, organization, or situation. Latasha is an advocate for emotional wellness and balance as her work has afforded her the opportunity to provide resources for the underprivileged, low-income families, churches and corporations to identify needs for those who lack emotional balance and wellness. Latasha is the author The Dumping Ground. Which was on the Best Sellers list in 2016. The “Dumping Ground” was birthed out of her inability to set the boundaries that God requires. The topic is very important to her and close to her heart because this area has cost her a tremendous amount of pain and consequences that significantly shaped the course of her life. Financial losses, sickness, relationship challenges, poor decisions and a host of other consequences will come if you are unable to set effective boundaries. She works with women and men to teach them that No is a complete sentence. She has trained over 500 individuals globally on the importance of setting healthy boundaries. The word No must be utilized to set boundaries and limits when developing relationships with others. Latasha has received numerous awards, written several article publications and variety of speaking opportunities for her advocacy work supporting healthy boundaries.
