Ultimately it is pure consciousness knowing itself, as distinct from any object or experience. ——————————————————— विवेकख्यातिरविप्लवा हानोपायः vivekakhyatiraviplava hanopayah • viveka-khyatih – discrimination-discernment (discriminative knowledge) • aviplava – undeviating, un-fluctuating, unbroken • hana - of removal, freedom • upayah - the means. ----------------------------- विवेकख्यातिरविप्लवा हानोपायः॥२.२६॥विवेकख्याति: , अविप्लवा , हान , उपायः ॥ • अविप्लवा - निश्चल और निर्दोष • विवेकख्याति: - विवेकज्ञान • हान - हान (का) • उपाय: - उपाय (है) । • निश्चल और निर्दोष विवेकज्ञान हान का उपाय है । उस अविद्या के अभाव से संयोग का अभाव हो जाता है, यही हान अज्ञान का परित्याग है और वही द्रष्टा चेतन आत्मा का 'कैवल्य' अर्थात् मोक्ष है ।
