Joining the podcast this week is speaker, coach, and retreat leader Hilary Phelps. She shares the grit of becoming sober 16 years ago and how that opened many new doors and experiences. She reveals what inspired her to openly talk about her journey and her holistic path to recovery. Hilary also opens up about her childhood, life as a college athlete and how perfectionism played a key role. In the episode, Hilary and Gwen bond over their personal experience with sobriety, marathon training and the ways motherhood has softened them. They touch on many topics like breathwork, “mommy wine culture, human design and different approaches to sobriety. Through her healing she has become an advocate for people moving through sobriety.
