Welcome to "Energy Sector Heroes." In this episode, we're honored to introduce you to Simon Seaton, a true leader in the energy sector.

Simon is the CEO of SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers), responsible for the organization's overall management. He collaborates with the Board of Directors and senior staff to develop strategic plans and policies while overseeing global offices in Dallas, Houston, Calgary, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, and London.

Before his role at SPE, Simon served as the CEO of Energy and Resources Worldwide at Sodexo, a global leader in food services and workplace solutions. He has a background in chemistry, starting his career as a drilling fluids engineer, which eventually led to a 22-year journey at Halliburton, where he held key positions across Aberdeen, Houston, and Nigeria.

Simon Seaton's commitment to the energy sector extends beyond his career. He's been an SPE member for over 25 years and has authored numerous technical papers. In 2021, he completed the Global Energy Leadership Program at Rice University.

Originally from the UK, Simon now calls Houston home. Join us as we delve into the inspiring journey of Simon Seaton, an energy sector hero.
