If you've ever struggled with your relationship with money then this episode for you. Jess talks about the importance of the relationship we have with money and its impact on both our business and personal life. The formation of our core beliefs around money are often established by the age of 7 so any patterns that you have around money, abundance and lack are deep rooted. Jess gives her ten tips and thoughts around money and talks candidly about losing £50,000 overnight and what that taught her about money. The episode also includes exciting announcements about the Jewellery Business Academy opening for enrolment and the forthcoming Jewellery Business Bootcamp.

Here are her tips:

1. Reflect on your childhood and what you heard about money in your family 2. Challenge those old thoughts around money that are no longer serving you 3. Find community that supports you - whether in person or online 4. Learn more about money and money mindset 5. Have compassion for yourself - issues with money are not about money they're about fear and guilt

6. Action brings about change - make small steps I challenge you to spend money on something this week for yourself that you wouldn't normally buy. And if you're an overbuyer, this week don't buy something you would normally buy 7. Understand the fundamentals of pricing and tips on how to put up your prices 8. You're more important than money and you're more important than your business

There is always something - an economic crisis, a pandemic, a housing market crash. Don't buy into the story that it means you can't grow a business because people are

9. Keep innovating and moving forwards 10. Focus on doing what you love and building the business that you want and trust that the money will come.
