I had the opportunity to sit down with Founders Evan Higgins & KB to discuss their platform *Know Your Politician/KYP*. After the 2016 election, co-founders Evan Higgins & KB realized the importance of understanding elected officials and their roles. This awareness deepened following the 2020 protests for George Floyd, where the call to vote highlighted a significant gap in voter knowledge about candidates. Our mission is to educate voters on their candidates and elected officials in an easily digestible format. To achieve this, we have participated in various programs, such as Venture Crush FG, an accelerator designed for founders to learn entrepreneurship fundamentals in a supportive environment. Our commitment is to keep the public informed and engaged before and after elections, ensuring they make knowledgeable choices at the polls.
