Our App today is called Spam Strike. Just in time for the election. You can now stop your phone from buzzing all the time with political texts. One of the guys behind Kayak.com created this app, because he just got tired of the spam that kept coming in. The app keeps a list of different political candidates' names or other words like "donate" or "vote" or "polls" or "elections". It sees those in a text message, it automatically blocks the texts and puts them into a spam folder, so you can make the final decision if you want to see them. Right now, it's only geared for political spam, but it could be upgraded at some point to get rid of other messages. It's a start. Spam Strike is brand new and it's free on iTunes.
