The William & Mary Global Film Festival takes place annually in February at the Kimball Theatre and brings world cultures to Williamsburg through film. The festival is a four-day event organized around a broad annual theme and featuring screenings of international-, student-, and alumni-produced films, live performances, presentations, guest filmmakers, and receptions. Local audiences of students, faculty, and other community members also consider each year’s theme through pre-festival series of films screened at the Williamsburg Public Library and introduced by William and Mary faculty. All festival events are open to the public.
