Hey Welcome to the first episode. Is this one we talked about how you can market your restaurant with social media, the best communication channels nowadays to build awareness around it. If you’re struggling to get more people into your doors it’s not necessarily in most cases because your product or service, but because the lack of attention you’re getting. Attention is a the new currency and you need a lot of it if you want to get more customer, and the best way to get attention faster and cheaper is by using social media platform like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter just to name a few. It’s where he eyeballs are right now and you can take advantage of these massive platform. You can go right now if you haven’t yet, and create a fan page on Facebook for your restaurant for free. That would be the first step. If you have it already, START POSTING LIKE CRAZY! Sorry for the scream lol but yes! Post 3-4 times a day everyday! I know that it sounds hard and in tomorrow’s episode I’m going to be talking about the tools you can you use to mitigate this and save yourself a ton of time while doing this!. So it’s not just about posting for the sake of it. Social media works in a different way than other advertising platform like radio, magazines or tv. They are called social for a reason. People go there to watch funny cat videos and gossip, whoever you and si can go there with beautiful and intriguing posts and create a pattern interruption to grab there attention and getting them into our ecosystem. That’s the first step, get there attention, not selling, not yet. After we get there attention, step 2 comes in place, we build rapport with them. Reply to any question, say hi and thanking them for the follow and like, people love this attention and the will be willing to the conversation going, that’s when step 3 comes in, empathy and gratitude. You can say simple things like “Hey Jackie thank you very much for the following, here’s a $10 off coupon on us for your first visit, see you soon :)”. That’s how you convert someone that doesn’t have a clue of who you and your restaurant are to someone who can potentially be in your door the same day. Tomorrow we will talk more about the three step and how to master them. Thank you guys to listening there first episode. It’s completely raw but the value is there. This is Daniel Ortiz with Bistro UpRising, Talk soon!.…
