We all have a fascination, a fear, and a fight with Giants. Listen as I give you three things you need to know to step up, square up, and slay your giants.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. By the Word he spoke everything we see and know into existence. Every creature, every animal, every bug, every person, every atom… he spoke it all into existence and ordered all of creation. The blue in the sky, the green in the grass, the wet in the water, even the tilt of the earth, yes, he ordered that also. It is also that tilt, that gives us one of the best things we will experience. One of the most exciting, frightening, challenging, motivating things we will experience is the fact that seasons change. Let’s talk about it on A Word with Anthony Walker.…
We all are aware of words that have multiple meanings. The word bad has multiple meanings that are so contrasting, a person would have to peer deeper into the conversation to know what the other was talking about. Those shoes are bad, could mean that those shoes are fowl, grotesque, and need to be removed immediately. But those shoes are bad could also mean that they are stylish, nice, and must be visually appreciated repeatedly. However, there are words that have multiple meanings so close that only nuance and context could separate them. Lets talk about one such word on A Word with Anthony Walker.…
God so designed the body to be able to simply and efficiently get oxygen into the body. Past your nostrils down your bronchial tubes into your lungs is the spot where the transaction occurs. On a molecular level, oxygen molecules seep into small air sacs and is quickly taken into the blood stream. And that’s just getting the air in. So, yes, I’m aware it’s been a couple of weeks since you’ve hard from me. You’ve been waiting to exhale…. I had to. Let’s talk about it on A Word with Anthony Walker.…
We marvel at the technological advancements in the automobile. The first cars had a hand cranked engine that drove a little faster than human running pace. They were incredibly inefficient and cost prohibitive. However through advancements in engineering, materials, and even electricity, cars are now made to run off of electricity. Although these achievements are great in their development, one cell in your body is more efficient, productive, and incredibly more complicated than any other machine we’ve ever made. Electric cars are cool, but can you imagine getting a source of energy from air? Take a deep breath and stay tuned for A Word with Anthony Walker.…
After a crime is committed, one of the first steps in solving the case is being able to identify the perpetrator. The problem is, with our senses, and the sensationalism of the crime, identifying the perpetrator is one of the hardest things to do. Often they go unfound because the witnesses claim, the perp is taller or shorter than they are, their physical features don’t match the description, or sometimes even the number of perpetrators is off. Sometimes the witness exaggerates the account because of strict interrogation. If it is that difficult to identify a criminal, could you could you under interrogation identify yourself? Do you know your identity? Let’s talk about it, on a Word with Anthony Walker.…
I recently had to speak before a group concerning a theme for the upcoming school year. What I loved about the theme is that everyone has a perspective on it. The theme encapsulates the journey that one takes to obtain that which they truly desire. It displays the baby that desires its parent. It encompasses the heart of the worshipper toward God. What does a winner, a baby, and a true worshipper have in common? Let’s talk about it on A Word with Anthony Walker.…
David was encamped in a small border city called Ziklag. While David and the military were away, The Amalekites invaded Ziklag and captured the women and children. When He returned to Ziklag and saw the devastation, in his sorrow and despair he cried until he had no more energy. But then, something happened. David strengthened himself in the Lord. This was not just the turning point in the story, this was the turning point of the entire battle. No matter how difficult the situation, there is a point at which things can turn. I’ve got a word to help you learn to change the direction of your situation on a Word with Anthony Walker.…
For some it is just a phrase, for others it is the challenge, and for the elite it seems as if it is already there. Something gets you going. Something gets you moving. But the issue isn’t in what gets us going. Virtually anything can get you going. It is often a question of what keeps us going. What moves you to act and consistently perform? I’ve got a word that will help fuel your tank to sustain you on the journey on a Word with Anthony Walker.…
Grammatically, there are times that you need to join two thoughts, two paragraphs, or two phrases. At the junction of these two thoughts, you insert a conjunction to help smooth the transition. In life we also need those conjunctions, those transitionary words or seasons that allow us to transition into the next phase more smoothly. Not only do these conjunctions join, but they can also signal a change or a contrast. I’ve got a word that will help you to face the next juncture in life on A Word with Anthony Walker.…
