Welcome to the special edition of the Thriving with ADHD dear ADHD community. Today we are talking about Collaborative Care Model with our program director Jennifer Street. In our mission to provide accessible care for all behavioral health patients, we are always looking into innovative solutions. Collaborative Care Model, is a relatively new concept that basically means providing behavioral health care treatment to patients in the primary care setting. It allows for integrative care between primary care providers, care managers, behavioral health specialists, and patients. The best thing of all is it shortens waiting times, improves patient's outcomes and general well-being, reduces care cost, and physician burnout and turnover. To us it sounds like a win-win situation for everyone. Tune in to learn more.
