Today’s guest is Abby Brenner who is a former gymnast at the University of Michigan and the University of Utah. During her athletic career Abby truly did it all from helping Michigan win its first ever national title in 2021 and winning two Big Ten Championships as a team. She then transferred to Utah for her 5th year where she helped Utah win the Pac-12 Championship as a team and took home the individual Pac-12 vault title. She closed out her career by earning NCAA All-American honors on bars and helping Utah to a 3rd place finish at the NCAA Championships. In this episode Abby will talk about the misconceptions that sometimes surround transfer athletes, how the transfer process works, the challenges that come with being a D1 gymnast, areas she struggled with post-gymnastics, NIL, and so much more!
