Certified holistic nutritionist, Lisa McMurtrie specializes in helping women break down the dieting mentality so that they can maintain a healthy weight without sacrificing the fun stuff.
During her teen and early adult life Lisa experienced numerous bouts of burnout, chronic dieting, over-exercising, and under exercising. She became a yoga teacher and personal trainer at the age of 23 with full intentions of healing herself and helping others with similar struggles. The problem was that the fitness industry actually began to fuel her struggles with body image. It wasn’t until 2019 that she started to reconsider the path she was choosing—which was when Well Balance Health was born.
