Our special guest mom, Andrea Stephenson, taught her toddler son to read early. Give your toddler an advantage over other students when starting school. Did you know that it is imperative that your child knows how to read well BEFORE THIRD GRADE? You have to start early. Don't underestimate what a toddler can learn when you break it down to their level. My toddler is currently learning the planets in the solar system and she is super excited about it. You want them to know as much as possible before entering school so they can excel and succeed.
Andrea shares tips with parents on how to make learning fun for kids. Her website, SimplyOutrageousYouth.org, provides parents with weekly activities and tips for accelerated learning in kids. She has written two books, "Teach Your Toddler to Read Through Play" and "Fun and Easy Ways to Teach Your Toddler to Write." Both of these books have over 130 activities, tips, and resources for your kids.
