What impact does the theory of evolution have on our Christian beliefs? Can the science of evolution truly coexist with the Biblical narrative and who has the authority? Too often we separate the two and are asked to choose one over the other. As Christians, there is plenty of rationale to hang our hats upon the longevity and assured foundation of the Bible. However, just as the world around us continues to change, could we not also see the Bible as one of adaptation? Join us this week as Pastor Tony Minear, Ph.D. continues his sermon series, "Evolving..." and explores evolution’s impact on Christian beliefs and in particular, the Bible. Learn the many ways humanity has wrestled with this issue of authority. Discover an alternative or new way to think about the Bible and humanity, one in which we adapt our beliefs and rebuild our worldview to, perhaps, encompass both. Recorded live at Beatitudes Church in Phoenix, AZ on 05/09/21 Preaching: Rev. Tony Minear, Ph.D. Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:39 Scripture Reader: Janelle Tapphorn If you like what you hear, consider donating at: https://beatitudeschurch.org/donate/
