The Hives' Howlin' Pelle Almqvist - Police, Punk Rock and Arctic Monkeys
Manage episode 387742480 series 3534132
Tick tick... boom! On this week's episode of the podcast, we're joined by bona fide rock'n'roll royalty in the sharp-suited shape of The Hives' frontman Howlin' Pelle Almqvist!
Fresh from a massive year releasing their first album in a decade, 'The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons', and supporting a little band called Arctic Monkeys around the stadiums of Europe, Pelle digs back into his early days as a young punk in Sweden, from evading the police throwing guerrilla gigs to learning AC/DC on a Flying V. Also shout out to the nurse called Troll who patched him up in hospital recently... Enjoy!
