Ellen Finkelstein helps experts get their knowledge out to the world with online products and courses. She’s well-known for her email newsletter (I’m a subscriber), which earns her top rankings on the leaderboards. Ellen got started writing books for big names like McGraw-Hill and Wiley. Author platforms were starting to kick off in the 90’s and Ellen started her website and email list in 1999. Her list grew automatically within her niche, and she realized she could make more money selling eBooks to her audience.
Ellen eventually started Change the World Marketing to show others her email system, which is the opposite of what many of the gurus do. Ellen’s email contains daily tips, stories, and many resources instead of just one call to action. We talk about how to create a winning email strategy for your target market, how to handle promotions, and why you need to provide value to your audience.
