If you’re listening to this podcast, then you probably know people in prison for hurting children make up the lowest rung of the prison status hierarchy. In this case, Marvin Grimm went to prison for nearly half a century as a convicted child murderer and sex offender. He confessed to his crimes.

But, in June 2024, the Virginia Court of Appeals issued a writ of actual innocence in his case. What?! Why did the court do that? What did Marvin confess to doing fifty years ago? What happened to the victim in this case? We discuss all of that and plenty more in this episode.
