Continuing with our series called "The Servant King," (A Study of the Gospel of Mark).... We've all heard of the "Ultimate Sin," or, for a lack of better terms, "the Unpardonable Sin," But, really, what is this? What does this mean? Could it be: vanity? murder? worshipping other idols? blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? What is the result when/if we commit the "Unpardonable Sin?" Can we be forgiven of this sin? In today's teaching, Pastor Ben digs deep into the book of Mark to help us understand what is meant by this. Throughout this lesson, certain things that we do (even when we don't realize that we are doing this) are uncovered to teach us how sometimes our hearts become hardened to certain things that we say and/or do. By knowing, understanding, and then praying about these things, we are able to connect with God and ask Him for forgiveness. When we have a flourishing relationship with God, we are guided by Him, guided in a way that allows hearts to be come sensitized once again, and keeps us from eventually committing the "Ultimate Sin" or for a lack of better terms, "The Unpardonable Sin." So, how is your relationship with Jesus (God)? Is it an ever-flourishing one? We would love to about it. If you are interested in attending our LIVE teachings (Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm & Sundays @ 10:00 am), you are invited to visit us at 4218 Boston Ave. Lubbock, Texas.
