Please join host Patrick Sprehe as he welcomes Amber Underwood to Center Cuts. Amber discusses her life growing up in Kansas City, some early family music experiences, her decision to learn the flute, informal and formal musical training, the desire to become a performing artist, her multiple degrees and becoming a band director in the public schools, and some recent developments in her music career including the 2020 release of her album "This Is Me." Amber also shares her thoughts about what makes KC special, and why Kansas City needs to get behind KC artists and promote them as brand ambassadors while including them in the conversations to develop the arts.
