Ben Coben is a Strategy Consultant and a former City Year AmeriCorps Team Leader. Before joining City Year, Ben graduated Cum Laude from Rice University with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He served two years with City Year, first as an AmeriCorps member at P.S. 83 in East Harlem before serving another as Team Leader, supporting elementary school students in academics, afterschool programming, and social-emotional learning. In this podcast we talk about what compelled him to serve, his journey to the private sector, and his perspective on the future of service programs.
