This week Chris "dishes" up the programme from Ballytrim. He chats to Mollie Cunningham the proprietor of Ballytrim Pantry, located at 10 Ballytrim Road, Killyleagh, County Down.
Mollie talks to Chris about her passion - growing your own food....and eating it! Chris learns a little about Mollie's background and takes a tour of the walled garden where she grows her own produce. Learn about how Mollie turned her passion into a business. Each week she offers her customers a different menu, based on the availability of her garden produce. Mollie is hands on with the preparation and cooking in her pantry, and the yummy dishes are collected by her customers each Thursday, or delivered to them on Fridays.
In Mollie's own words - "I grew up with an innate understanding of the seasonality of natural produce. It is this respect for the natural rhythm of life that underpins my philosophy for Ballytrim Pantry – creating and cooking in perfect sync with the seasons."
