Manage episode 420555845 series 3461956
Today’s conversation with P. Bobby Shukla explores employment law, fighting for workers’ rights, trials, and life. Bobby’s Shukla Law, P.C. focuses on employment law and trying employment cases on behalf of employees. Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, pay equity – she’s seen and prosecuted all types of predatory employer behavior.
Her work has garnered all types of accolades, including being selected in the Top 100 Northern California Lawyers and Top 50 Northern California Women Lawyers, Trial Lawyer of the Year finalist in 2020, and she’ll be finding out within the next week if she’s San Francisco’s Trial Lawyer of the Year this year. She’s done this while being involved in leadership in various organizations, including The National Lawyers’ Guild and editor for the Trial Lawyer magazine. Her commitment to equity began early, being a founding member of UC Law’s Race and Poverty Law Journal when she was a law student. I hope you enjoy this deep dive into the employment world with Bobby Shukla!
