The Bold and the Beautiful sees Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is unyielding in her determination to terminate Hope for the Future. Yet, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) passionately argues for its continuation. The absence of Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson) has left Hope for the Future on a downward spiral leading towards cancellation. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is convinced that Steffy will stop at nothing to destroy Hope's line and devastate her life on the CBS soap opera.

Bold and Beautiful see that Steffy gives Hope more time to improve the line's performance. But she also issues a stern warning to Hope regarding her husband, Finn (tanner Novlan). Hope's attention is occupied by Carter's romantic advances and Liam Spencer's (Scott Clifton) attempts to reconcile, leaving her no time to think about Finn. As Carter pleads with Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to not only retain Hope for the Future but invest more in it, Steffy demands concrete sales numbers.
